    New guy from North Georgia

Hi All, I知 a new guy here. I知 from Young Harris, GA. It痴 very close to some good hiking. I知 finally retired now and looking forward to some overnight back packing. I stumbled on this forum while researching hammocks. I like the idea of a bridge hammock do to the fact that I sleep on my side most the time. Looks like the Bear Mountain BMBH-UL would be a good hammock for me. I will be doing mostly warm weather camping. Does anyone have any other suggestion for bridge hammocks. I知 open to suggestions. There's a lot of good info here on the forum. It痴 nice to see such a dedicated bunch here.

Welcome from Atlanta! Take the time to research hammock options and refernce the information members can share.

I personally was going to look at a bridge hammock until I found this forum and started down the route toward ultra light and relieved camping.

I chose the h.h ultralight backpacker without having the dangerbird option. Now I wish I would have waited. There is definitely a lot of great gear from the cottage industries on this forum and I would recommend looking into it.

Welcome from SC, and I agree with warloc4326, do lots of research before you buy. This will help in getting exactly what you want and then you won't end up selling and trying to find something better.
