HG Cuben Tarp w/carbon pull out poles

Do you think the spreader bars from arrowhead will work with my 4 season hammock gear cuben tarp? If not, something similar?

I'm pretty inexperienced with setting up a tarp and have had trouble with it flapping in the wind at night. It keeps waking me up, and I thought this might keep enough tension to cut down on the noise/flapping. Thoughts?

Those are only available for purchase to the owners of his Hard Rock Winter Tarp.

    You cannot buy those separate.

What do you think about the idea in general for tightening up my HG cuben tarp? I suppose I could use lines and stakes for the pull outs, but I already have 8 lines and stakes as it is. Thoughts?

At trail days, Adam from HG used arrow shafts attached to the tarp ridgeline to hold the side panel pulls out.

Actually, in talking to Luke from HG, they were small tent poles - 18" long. They are the smallest diameter that Quest Outfitters carries. You need two without inserts and four with inserts, making two 54" rods that are tied to the ridgeline then attached at each end to the side panel pullouts. A total of about $20. They do not bend like the carbon arrow shafts.

I'm guessing that you meant Luke, the first night he had those out we had a line of tornado come through southern Ohio and we got some ridiculous winds for about 6 hours, his tarp was pitched with the wind coming from the side. He's still using the pole kit so it must have passed the test.
