    Looking for dayhikes near Pasadena

I'm heading out to LA for a week of training. Looking for 2-3 hour dayhikes near Pasadena when I get out of class. Any suggestions?

Hit me up if you're still in town. I can recommend a few places near the area.

    Some areas you can dayhike:

    Eaton Canyon
    Henninger Flats/Idlehour (via Eaton Canyon)
    Chantry Flats (Mt. Zion Loop)
Mt. Wilson (via Chantry Flats Upper Winter Creek Trail)
East Fork (Off HWY39) - Bridge To Nowhere
West Fork (Off HWY39) - Lower Bear Creek or Cogswell Dam

Falls still exist and if you're lucky, you might see a heli-rescue in action . I would avoid this personally due to the amount of people that visit this spot. I would keep on going to Henninger Flats above the falls and then hike on through to Idlehour then back. Eaton - Henninger - Idlehour is around 9mi ~ 10mi RT
