I don't think you may. You can click "today's posts" still and see the most recent posts.
Personally, I use the "mark forums read" on all the forums I read. I click the "show new posts since your last visit" (not the real name) and browse/read/reply to anything. When I finish, I click the "mark read". So each time I visit, I'm only viewing things that have changed.

rhjanes is correct, you really can't reset that Mark All as Read option. Many of us consider this a feature, for the exact reasons he mentioned.
If you just want to mark an individual subforum as read, use the 'Mark This Forum Read' option under the Forum Tools dropdown on the subforum index.
