Others are giving good advice, so I'll just say welcome from Rome, GA.
Welcome! I'm not far down the road from you in Jasper.
Wow! I had no idea there were so many choices. I think about everyone gave me something different so I guess I will just start researching and maybe see about trying out the different ones before I buy anything. Im glad to see there are so many fellow Georgians, looks to me like we all need to get together and go hammockin' sometime!!

Welcome from Lawrenceville, Ga. I have an ENO DN and have been using it for about two years now. Really love it! I just spent last week at summer camp with my scout troop and slept in my hammock all week. Best sleep ever and woke up every morning feeling refreshed. So, I know you are in for some good sleeping. You will need a bug net if you don't have one already. I have the whole ENO set up - guardian bug net and the Pro Fly. Everything works very well together. Most of the nights camping have been in dry weather, but when it did rain, the Pro Fly kept me completely dry. I spent a weekend at Rainey Mountain in March and during the night we had a couple of thunderstorms and some blowing rain. I was very pleased to find out how well the Pro Fly kept me dry. It rained the first two days of summer camp and my Pro Fly kept everything bone dry. So, I don't have a problem recommending the Pro Fly, it's a good tarp and it works!

Way-Way Cool What kind of Dog? How big?
Happy Hangin !!!!
Rainey Mountain is a nice camp! Went there for OA Conclave a few years ago. Im gonna be staying at Sidney Dew with my troop this year. Thats our local camp. Next year we will try to hit one out of our council.
My dog was supposed to be an Australian Cattle Dog but he ended up just being a $75 mutt. He only weighs 15 pounds, short legs and a long body haha. He looks pretty goofy but hes my bestfriend so I deal with it.
welcome to the madness
