Has anyone seen or heard of any new gear for 2007 that is innovative or is a big improvement over last years offerings?
Once a gearhead, always a gearhead.

most exciting thing i've herd about is a new hammock (from JRB) that may be ready to show at trail days!!!
also the new hammock tents... also by JRB. pictures of those can be seen in the camp-out gallery.
don`t leave the CREATOR out of the creation!
I heard some talk from Ed Speers that he was testing some new cold weather option on his yahoo list. He did not say what it was.
I am placing my bet it is some sort of travel pod/sock. No good reason. Just a guess.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
The hanger formly known as "hammock engineer".
I got my first sewing lesson from BlackBishop yesterday (Thanks man). My hope for 2007 is that I can learn to sew well enough to modify / make some of my own gear. BD
Just Jeff made me do it
So I hear. Im already a gearhead with a whole closet (thats overflowing) full of gear. I can only imagine what it will be like if I pick up this sewing thing. BD

I have some of the descending rings coming in the mail that Jeff posted he is using. I came up with an idea I want to try that would work as one piece without a biner. That's all I got right now.
As for sewing, go slow. I seam to get tired of sewing at some point and speed up, or overestimate my ability to mess something up. This usually results in me having to redo something.![]()
