first let me say that its great to be here. Recently decided that I just had to have a hammock and purchased a DD Camping Hammock. Its a good starter model and very reasonably priced if you're based in the UK, although I am looking to swap out the stock webbing that it comes with as it adds a lot of weight and isn't terribly adjustable.
Thanks to a proper education from my dear mum I'm not bad with a sewing machine and have decided to start small but eventually work up to making my own tarp, although the supplies for producing your own gear over here are few and far between compared with the states, but I will persevere!
