DIY Gear Supply/Backwoods Dreamer Hammock blank

Yesterday I received one of the standard Hammock blanks from DIY Gear Supply/Backwoods Dreamer. High winds and rain prevented me from trying it out, so I whipped the ends to see how it hung. got home today and got new webbing straps ready, whoopie slings good and went to try her out. From the moment I laid out in it, I knew I had found my ideal hammock. It was everything about hammocks that forum members speak so highly of. Sorry to bubble over, but I can't speak highly enough of this one.

My daughter will be receiving my ENO. Kudos to Scott Littlefield for an outstanding buy.

Looks comfy! I've made one similar, but although it is very comfortable, I make a veritable lightning storm every time I get in or out! I might have to spray it down with anti-static stuff.

Wow! Fortunately, I didn't have that problem. What was yours made of?

Mine's crinkle taffeta. I got it from a tablecloth place, so the stuff from DIY Gear Supply is probably better.

I'm also considering doing the Knotty stretch-side mod to get rid of my ever so slightly floppy sides. It looks like you've got that sorted already.

Yes, I used Knotty's method. I just whipped it without an end channel, then marked the whip with sharpie so I can see if there is any slipping of the whip. It slipped about 1/16" under load.

Awful comfy would be a gross understatement. When I first received it, I thought the green was a little bright, but when I set it up and got in, suddenly it was the perfect color.

Thank you Scott for answering all my silly questions and your prompt service and delivery. I don't think I could be happier than I am with this.

    Always warm regards,

I am considering buying a hammock blank from Scott. If I'm 6'1" 160#, which of the two blank sizes would you recommend?
