With a modification to let suspension line out, it could be hung from a ridgeline and would drape itself all the way to the ground.
Whether you could do this with a pyramid would depend on its dimensions. For a big enough one I don't see why not, at least if you can rig a way to pull it up high enough.

I have bought a mozzie net that is kinda a pyramid more like a cone.
If I get around to it I plan to cut off the ring at the top and attach it semi permanently to the ridgeline. Then I will set up the hammock with someone in it and cut the net to just below the bottom of the hammock, then sew a channel at that end and add a draw cord.
The plan is to set up the hammock in camp then attach the netting to the ridgeline and hope in. The reach over and pull up the end of the net and pull tight the draw cord, once locked in place with a cord lock I will just drop the net which will hang below me and the hammock but not on the ground.
Anyway, that's the plan
Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.

sorry for the bad explanation , i meant the make of the mossie net is pyramid it is designed for hammock use ,very pleased with it too
