    Central Oregonians! Help me out!

I'm planning a backpacking trip in Mill Creek Wilderness, starting & finishing at South Twin Pillars Trailhead. I know the area was burned out pretty seriously a few years back, and I've never been to the area, so I don't know - are there trees, or should I bring a tent

This is the hike we're doing. Counterclockwise from S. Twin Pillars trailhead.

Has anyone been there and can you provide insight?

no insight,, but keep walking till you find some good trees
    place looks cool.

instead of the tent... bring a larger groundsheet and torso pad - use your hammock as a ground bivi.

i've been practicing in case i have to gotoground up in the cascades this summer.

thanks for the tip, rip! I think I'll do just that..

speaking of the cascades, this trip is actually a fallback plan - we were supposed to climb Adams, but that fell through at the last minute
