    Newbie for Montana

Hi guys I am from Montana and just got an ENO doublenest. I am looking forward to trying it out on my next backpacking trip. I have only been a tent camper so this will definitely be a change for me. I still need to purchase a tarp and whoopie slings. Any suggestions for what to get would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome!!!

Lots of great info here to answer your questions. I'll not bias the answers at this point.... other than to say that the tarp is what protects you from the elements, and defines your space. The weather and wind should determine size and shape of said tarp. I have smallest of the small tarps, and a very large one too. The smallest one gets the most use, but the largest one is of the greatest value (when needed)

    Enjoy !!!

Welcome from another Montana hanger. Maybe we'll meet on the trail at some point.
