I like your message. I'm a big guy and was never afraid to get out there but there are many who are and its too bad. You give some good advice and I agree about the Keens. I have 4 pairs total: a casual shoe, a light hiking boot, a little heavier hiking boot and most recently a pair of sport sandals. They are definitely comfortable out of the box. I love them. Keep up the good work!

    Great video

I'm a "heavy hanger" myself. I've been looking into getting out and doing more hiking, so keep the videos coming.
As an aside, from one heavy hanger to another, whenever I try a new rigging setup, I always make my skinny buddy test it out first. Even when the listed load limits on all my gear are way within tolerance, I get nervous plopping my big rear end down in the hammock before having someone lighter test it out. Do you keep the "smaller folk" around as guinea pigs too, or is this just me?

Great vid! I'm a big guy too. (330 lbs) and I got into hammock camping because I figured it had to be way more comfortable for king sized people to sleep in than tents. Glad to know there are other people out there not letting their size get in the way of doing the things they love! (and hoping to slim down a little by doing them!)

New video is up - Packs and Hammock wait

So I know this thread is old and its been a while since I posted a new video, but I'm back and ready to share, and encourage. So come on by and give a watch.

This video is on pack tips, and that long horrible wait for your hammock to arrive.

    Thanks everyone!
