I have a freind who is a Scout Leader and he wants me to give a class on hammock camping to his troop. I was wondering if any of you would be interested in joining me. It will be a campout at J. Strom Thurmond Lake, and I planned on bringing several hammocks and other gear to show them and explain their uses. I would love for someone who knows how to make whoopie slings to teach them and I can order some amsteel for them to work with. It would also be nice to show them other types of hammock setups, ie. bridge, WBBB (footbox) etc.
We will be camping for the night and there is supposed to be some good food. This will be at Petersburg campground right on the lake, so that will be nice also.
The date is set for 30 June, let me know if anyone else is interested. ChickenWing this would be nice.
