I looked at the JRB and really liked them but they do not look like they are ment for bigger people. I am 6'1" and 250lbs. Time for that over due diet! I think the Claytor Jungle is my best bet. Thanks...

    Always on my mind!

I'd like to find some property in the Fontana Dam neighborhood. Unfriendly hostel, an expensive Lodge, and a shelter that has more LEOs than hikers. If there was ever a place that needed a hammock hostel it's that spot! They need to relax.

That would be Hooch's Hammock Hostel! You gotta admit, the name sounds catchy. I got first dibs on that whole "business partner" thing, thank you very much.

Thanks, I try to stay away from shelters. The only thing I like about shelters is that you can usually find water nearby. Shelters and bus stops are just too similar for me. JMHO.

The Loyal Sock trail (outside of World's End State Park) might be a possibility. Let me now.
If you guiys go to Worlds End, let me know. There are four of us located in and around Elmira NY that all use Claytor Hammocks. Elmira's about 1.5 hours away. An awesome camp spot is where Rock Run road crosses the Loyalsock Creek a few miles north(?) of the actual park. Park your car at the bridge and hike downstream a few hundred yards. It's a beautiful spot which would also allow easy access to your car (read-beer).

How did this thread get so off topic? This was started for hammer to figure out what hammock to go with or did I miss something?
