    1/4" pad scraps - found

I am looking for some 1/4" foam pad scraps for use as padding in the shoulder straps and hip belt of a new backpack I'm working on. I bought some 3/8" foam but now think it is too thick for a light weight pack. I was wondering if anybody who has cut up a pad would have some scraps left over. I am looking for a piece about 9" x 26" total, but combinations of smaller pieces would work also. The shoulder strap pieces need to be 18" long by 4.5" wide, and the hip belt pieces 7" long by 3.5" wide.

Please, pm me if you have any scraps you're willing to part with.

I have also heard that the reflectix bubble insulation that coozies can be made from do well for strap padding. I'm sorry I don't have either to help but may provide another avenue for searching.
My knife is so sharp it cut the sixth finger off my right hand! On the plus side, Inigo Montoya no longer hunts me.

Mikeinfhaz is sending me a piece of 1/4" GG pad he has left over. Thanks, Mike!

P.S.: This forum is really the best. So many kind people here that go out of their way to help each other. I hope to pay it forward one day.

That is something I have to try on my other pack that I made with the velcro opening on the straps. I don't like having socks for padding because they catch on the velcro and always bunch up. I guess I am not ultra-light enough!
