Yes the Claytor JH is great starter hammock. Heck great hammock period.

I have 4 and if I needed another I'd have scooped this one up yesterday for $125.

good to hear.. my research has been long and exhausting. There was a common theme though.. when in doubt research at hammockforums. the way I have it figured even at $4 per hour the research time figures up to about the cost of the hammock! Thanks for the vote of confidence!
