Manistee River

Planning a trip up to the Manistee River (MI) next week, and I am kooing for a canoe livery that I can park my vehicle and haul me and my canoe to the put in spot for a reasonable charge. Lokking to put in at either the CCC or M72 bridge (or above) and then a three day trip (15 - 20 hrs. on the river). Any ideas or reccomendations?

Rick at Chippewa Landing is great! He'll hook you right up. Thats the livery canobie uses.

Well, it looks like Chippewa is the strong front runner. Even had that recommended by Gargoyle. I saw their web page last night, and they were my choice, but wanted some others input before I called them.

Red, sorry to hear about your hammock mis-adventures awhile back. I know it was said before, but if you need any help let me know. Maybe we can get the big guy (Gargoyle) out and do a river trip sometime yet this year. Right now, I just need me some time in the woods.
