Newbie question;
I have a new ENO DN. I put it between two trees I normally hang a rope hammock from. The trees are probably close to the "too far apart" distance but workable.
I experienced the dreaded shoulder squeeze. Having read on here it is caused by too flat of a hang angle, I lengthened my whoopies and kept experimenting until I got an acceptable angle...but I learned something (I think).
Tell me if I'm correct,
The farther apart the trees are, the higher up the tree straps have to be and the more your whoopies extended to get a proper hang angle (the approximate 30°) and still keep yourself off the ground.
If trees are too far apart, you just can't get there because of restrictions of height and whoopie length...you're going to run out of both.
Am I right here?
Also, I have a SRL I haven't yet installed. Will this help correct and maintain hang angle if the two trees are almost too far apart?
