Doesn't matter if they will or not for me. REI will take mine back. And they will be getting them soon.
Good Point. I bought mine there as well. Kinda forgot about that policy. Found quite a few good deals in the "Garage Sale" Section!

This is good news from a hammock community view. ENO is the most easily accessible camping hammock. Now that it comes with a suspension that is actually usable, more people might switch to over to hammocks.
Since I got my Blackbird, my girlfriend has claimed it as hers when we go backpacking together, so I have been looking for a new suspension for my ENO DN; I might give this a try instead of switching to cinch buckles and webbing.
The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog.
There is a resemblance, no doubt, although their designs are slightly different. KAMMOK uses tubular webbing and their straps are just doubled over and sewn through. I like them, personally. But daisy chain straps are nothin new, and most vendors who sell rope hanging kits have used daisy chain loops.
It's actually a very handy, easy-to-use system, especially for noobs or those who don't want or care for knots or other types of adjustment systems.

For sure... I am no Python Strap fanboy... Just what I am using until my whoopies and straps get here... Hahaha. I am glad ENO is finally getting the idea that the slap straps were too stretchy. Honestly it is what kept me from buying the one link system, and doing more research on suspension. So in a way I guess I should thank ENO for helping me to do more research.

I swapped out my ENO straps, which are WORTHLESS, for polyester straps from Arrowhead Equipment. I also use 2 descender rings and a whoopie loop on the ends of the hammock. Much lighter, stronger and faster to setup than ENO.
I'm very happy to hear about ENO's new straps. My only question is what took them so long?

Awesome! I always liked how the slap-straps functioned, minus the stretchniness of the nylon. I will definitely look into these new polyester straps.
with two m's, like "hammock."
Count me as another who should thank ENO. If it wasn't for how crappy the slap straps are, I never would've found whoopie slings or hammock forums.
That's interesting, if goig to buy sometime later on this year new hammock (those Dangerbirds seems nice but little bit on the expensive side for me), I could be confused what suspension to take.
