Try fronkey's method for a bug net (the sticky on the DIY page). Works great for me in the dacks.

Was at cedar river a week ago, and getting in and out was so fast that I only had 1 or 2 of the adirondack air force make it in with me.

In comparison, my hiking partner uses a zip hennessy, and he's swatting bugs for an hour in his hammock.

Ordering from DIY gear supply will cost you about $25 per bugnet. You could go cheaper with Tulle from walmart, but it's not black fly proof.
