I've had over 300lbs in mine with plenty of bouncing and swinging with no signs whatsoever of the material stressing or breaking. Your setup should be just fine.

This place is such a hoot! I've just placed orders for 3 tablecloths...planning on doing two hammocks...one will be a double layer 90 * 132 (in black and purple; go Ravens!); the other will be a blue 60 * 126 for my 13 year old. Placed orders also with BIAS for two more suspension kits, as well as an order with Arrowhead for a bunch of shock cord and cord locks.

    Should be fun!

So, how does one go about whipping the ends of a hammock? No thread injector...yet.

This should tell you everything you need to know about pretty much any DIY matter in the hammock realm.

Mine came in a little while ago.
Sage, i really like the color and feel of it.
Now to decide how to tie her up.
I'll probably go with a whipping and straps.
would fold it and straps but i don't want to loose that much material using the folds.
the plastic ties worry me as i have seen so many fail over time, probably UV damage and age deprivation (I may be gettin that too). Also if you clip them off they are sharp and can cut you and cloth.
Any of you crinkle people care to talk of how you plan to tie your new hammocks up?

second hang.....not so good....small tear started. i also see a couple of other spots that are thin. I'm sure if a heal or elbow hits them they will tear too. Any one have to return a table cloth yet.

I got one of these too. I ran into a sharp edge that was protruding from my desk, I don't remember what it was. It is about a quarter of the way in from the side on my 90x132. I got tired of looking at it for over a month and bought iron on fabric patches from HobbyLobby and ironed it on. Fixed it for me. But I would suspect location is important as this is the no stress area most of the time.

No other thin spots that I've seen. I could also flip this side over as it's on the head side of my hammock. Both sides being the same I could just as easily have moved the other carrabiner from it's storage position on my eye hook the next day.
