WBBB. . . . though people with HH's like them . . .

first time that can do it all, e.g. is many hammocks in one is the
DangerBird. Choose the materials with weight in mind and you'll get close
to the weight of a BlackBird.
If weight is more an imperative and no need to ever use a peapod or want complete al fresco approach to hanging then the BlackBird.
If weight is an absolute criterium then Traveler.
If weight is an utter obsession then DYI with Momentum.
There is areason Warbonnet Hammocks is dominating the scene-they are the best.
There is a reason PapaSmurf is many many orders behind=outstanding product.
You cannot go wrong with either.
I started with a HH EXP.. since then i have made a couple gathered enders (i sewed on a bugnet) from 'knotty's' directions. Now my HH is used when someone without a hammock comes along and wants to try it out. I still like it though.. just not as comfy to me as my own, slightly oversized gathered end hammock.

My first choice would be the Blackbird. It's bigger and lighter.
I have a WBBB 1.1 DL and A-sym diamond tarp and I like that setup a lot for fair weather.
I am eyeing up the WB edge or WL tadpole though, because I don't really trust my diamond tarp in weather where wind is blowing the rain around, and those 2 would give me better coverage.
The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog.
I would go with a Papa Smurf Dangerbird for it's versatility in all kinds of weather. I would go with 1.1 or 1.7 ripstop nylon fabric for a lighter hammock though.
My second choice would be a WBBB 1.1, but I also like my HH DJ.

If you need space for you feet then go with a WBBB! I've been looking at the Dangerbird, might be a good one as well.
