I'm really wanting to do a 32 mile section of the Colorado Trail with Food and his buddies, but it looks like I'll be moving into my new place this weekend; found out today. Yea me!!!! It's got a big ol basement for my hammock/tarp/uq workshop.

Food: sorry I haven't called yet; you know how crazy things are when you're relocating. I'll call tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I've got several projects to get done around the house as fall arrives, so it won't include camping

With all the rain we just got, I would think the water should be flowing.

We have a visitor coming, his name is - Gustav! Should be here on Monday. Hope he doesn't stay long and make a big mess!

Looks like this is going further west of here, so our trip to Charlotte is back on. Looking forward to going to Trader Joes and REI.

Well, I am going to take my little 14 ft boat to a isolated lake and give my new hammock a couple of nights about 5 miles down the lake on the beautiful point that I have had my eyes on...Figure the first day/night will be experimenting and learning how to get a comfortable hang...do a little fishing, a little cooking, maybe even a couple of fish for dinner...next 2 days, fishin, nappin, reading and relaxing...no worries, no rushing, no phone, and nobody but, me and my thoughts....
