With an 108" ridgeline and a 30 deg. Hang angle, does anyone know the load on the hammock vs ridgeline or the present shared by each in theory? Does the Ridgeline take the meat of the load or does the hammock?

The optimum use of the ridgeline is to have it tight enough to remove the slack but not be loaded. It will still hold up a bugnet and your headlamp. It's handy for these things as well as a permanent measurement devise that helps you hang the hammock properly.
So, why do some hammocks come with a 1/8" Amsteel ridgeline? Because some people want to hang between two trees that are more than 20' apart and in so doing, the ridgeline becomes strung as tight as the high note on a guitar.
