Recommend me a setup from cabelas, gandermountain, REI

    Hey team

going to chicago this weekend, i plan on stopping by cabelas, gander, and REI.

I want an ENO doublenest, but i also want insect and rain protection. Im wondering if anyone can recommend me some products from one or any of these stores.

look for Sawyer's Permethrin. It's a great insecticide/repellent. Follow the directions carefully.

You can pick up and ENO Guardian bug net and a Kelty Noah's tarp at those stores. The Gander Mountain on Randall Rd in Geneva usually has the bug nets. Your best bet for both is probably Cabela's in Hoffman Estates....if they are out of one or the other, the REI in Schaumburg is just a few miles to the east.

Have fun....they are all great stores for hours of browsing but watch your wallet. :-)

Some REIs have Hennessey hammocks. These have bugnets and tarp.

    I love mine.

And, as someone else mentioned, some REI's carry Hennesy. But, ask someone in the store. My local REI has them in the back and only a tiny sign near the shelters area that says they have'm in back.
