Greenville/Upstate SC dinner July 2-6, 2012?

I'll be down some time next week (July 2-6, 2012) to sit with my mother who just got a new hip yesterday. She's doing GREAT, but I'm still coming down in case she needs help around the house for a few days.

But I have three siblings who can help too, so I might be able and wanting to get out for dinner some time, maybe do a little shopping at Mast General Store or another outfitter. (Heck, I might even want to go for a short hike.)

Anybody interested in joining me? Sorry, but I won't know what day until at least this weekend and maybe not until next week.

So, ... shall some of us "do dinner" next week in Greenville?!

P.S. I know Wednesday is Independence Day and may affect plans for many.

I may be up for a lunch downtown on Thursday. I will have just come back from thru hiking the FHT tomorrow through Tuesday or Wednesday.

Yep. I've shopped there several times.

But we don't have a Mast General Store in Nashville, so I like visiting it and the independent outfitter in Greenville (can't remember name off-hand).

There are two: Half Moon Outfitter on Laurens Road and Appalachian Outfitters which is over by Haywood Mall.

Darn, Wish you were gonna be closer to me. I'd invite you to the grill-out on the lake Wed night. You'd have to bring your boat though, it's on an Island!

Ahhhh, yes! Have been to both in past years. Will make a point to visit them this trip, too. Thanks for the names!

There's another you might enjoy, but it's about 20 minutes northwest of downtown in Travelers Rest… Sunrift Adventures. They're an independent outfitter and worth the trip, if you want to get out of town and get a little closer to the mountains.
