When packing up where do you put figure 9's

Make a short loop of cord for each Figure 9 and attach it with a larkshead through the F9's eye. When you dig out the Fig 9, larkshead its cord to the tarp attachment.

You can make a quick loop with a fisherman's knot in a length of cord. If it's slippery cord like spectra, or you're paranoid, use a double fisherman's knot.

I used 9's for about 8-10 trips on the big hex tarp. Two were Girth Hitched (larkshead to y'al) to the ridge rings.

Pre-rigged with short loops and kept in the stake bag with the tarp which can be rigged separate and first.

Conclusion is that with skins I can set up the tarp quicker with simple knots.

I attach mine to the storage bag with a small carabiner. Seems to work fine.
