Hello from another New Yorker

I just wanted to finally get around to posting a hello. I've been trolling these forums for a very long time, and wanted to thank everyone for all the information I've picked up from you guys over the years.

I've been hiking and camping all over the country for about 15 years, mostly right here in the Catskills and Adirondacks. About 6 years ago, I came upon a hanger with a HH exp, and instantly I was hooked. I bought a hennessy for myself, and have never slept on the ground since.

Also proud to say I've spread the bug around to a few others as well.

I'm going to be working on my own DIY setup starting next week for a week long hike through the ADK high peaks in august, so I'll be posting any questions, as well as the finished product sometime in the coming weeks.

Welcome to the forum. Every chance I get I try to get to the Adirondacks. I went to Bog River and Lowes Lake with My brother and his two boys on August 9th, we all had a great time.
