Hey Everyone!
Been a member here since June 2011 and lurker since before then, but never felt a reason to post until now....
I appreciate all the information and help that is shared here, and I have been soaking it up and taking it all in. Thanks again all!!
The reason for this post is that I finally have something to share! I just completed my first hammock! I received my shipment of supplies from Scott today (hammock kit in a box!!!) at 2:00 and had my first hang at 9:00!! (started sewing at 4:00...) It was about what I expected as far as comfort goes, and see that there will be a lot of adjusting with the gathering of the hammock ends. I am also looking forward to getting started on my Lightweight Grizz Bridge hammock. (as well as getting my tarp done! First things first...as well as a bug net...)
Just wanted to share my little victory... Thanks again everyone for sharing your experiences, skills, opinions, and encouragement on this great forum!! I can see that this can get addicting...
