I've not been using a computer all that long myself, but once you get past being afraid to "play around" & try stuff, you'll come along fine.
Just one thing... NEVER, NEVER, EVER PUSH THE RED BUTTON... just kidding

As for up loading pictures, the first question might be, do you have a digital camera? Then we'll go from there.

And some of the others can no doubt help walk you through a couple basic picture "up loading" options better yet than I can. ...Tim
