VIDEO: Island Camping Overnighter - WBBB, JRB BMBH, Baking and more

Hello all,

Tinny and I did an over-nighter on one of the small islands on my local pond here. Tinny has found his hammocking sweet-spot with the JRB BMBH, so you will probably see quite a bit more of that in his hiking & camping videos.

There are three parts, with kayaking, Hammock setups and experimenting with dry-baking, which turned out pretty well, I must say.

The weather got a little weird Saturday night with really high wind gusts, but at least no rain. It was fantastic to hear the loons calling occasionally throughout the evening.

The conditions Sunday morning were beyond amazing.

Forget the AT and the Wilderness! I'm coming to Maine in 3 weeks and WILL have kayaks on the roof!
That is an absolutely beautiful place to explore! Man have you planted a seed!

My local pond as seen in the video is positively miniscule compared to bodies of fresh water all over this state; so grab a map and....To The GOOGLE!

On a side note, Tinny has been looking to see if some of the sections of the AT to the west of us might be a little less 'daunting' in terms of access to supply and evac, if needed.

Very nice videos, a nice addition to enjoy with my cup o' joe this morning.

Thanks for sharing with us. Watching them makes me want to find some small island around here to kayak/hang on.
