    First Nap

Well, I took my first nap in a hammock today. I've attempted to sleep in my Eno DN a few times before but this is my first successful attempt. I mounted my DN in my man cave and fell asleep while watching SEC football today. Great experience. I look forward to many more and eventually a full night's sleep.

Thanks for all those who post. I've recently discovered hammocks and this site and have been obsessed. Reading your experiences and tips have helped tremendously.

Welcome to the forum from SC. Your first nap is but the first step in your hammocking journey young padawan. ... Feel the urge to make your own gear you will. Hang you must!

KLH - you sure it wasn't the Akansas game that put you to sleep and not the hammock? Ok, it could have been both I suppose.

Tall Paul - you guessed it. I missed the entire 4th quarter due to my comfy DN.

Be careful about what you seek KLH!

Last April I was determined to sleep a week in my DIY hammock so I'd know I could sleep in it when camping. It changed me.... into a full time hammock sleeper. I've slept in a bed maybe a hand full of times since then. So go easy or the comfort may ... queue eerie music here... turn you into a full time hammocker!
