    Underquilt "fit" questions

Ive used a pad/bag for about six years, but since i live in AL and apparently am a warm sleeper, i just toughed out the nights in the low 20s and made do. But its time to jumo into the UQ world. I understand how an UQ works and how it keeps you warm, but I'm trying to figure out exactly how it will fit me while in my hammock. Assuming a full length version, the UQ would come up around my head, shoulders, and feet, correct? Assuming I was lying perfectly flat, the TQ would essentially be over me, but not need to be around me, because the UQ would be wrapped around my hammock (and me). Does that make sense and am I correct?

I still tuck in my quilts around my shoulders and such depending on the weather. My UQ protects from below but i still need coverage from temps on my front.

Both quilts wrap half way around you, making a complete system.

How did I miss this one? You had me rolling with that Sling Blade impression!!
Lots of good info there Shug. I've been hangin' for a number of years and I still learn something every time I watch one of your vids. Thanks my friend.

+1 to that. Shug rocks and I'm not talking about in his head, well not JUST the ones in his head.
