    Labor Day Weekend

My Wife, two dogs and I spent a lovely extended weekend in the Rockies west of Fort Collins, Colorado at about 8000'. Highs in the seventies, lows in the forties. Was comfy in my Skeeter Beeter Pro, Snugfit, sleeping bag as a quilt, t-shirt and light fleece pants with bed socks. Only complaint-the horse-type-flies were big and hungry. At one point my big dog had three feeding on his snout. When I wiped them off, it looked as though he was punched in the nose! In the end a great time was had by all. We really love the mountains. Hope you enjoy a few pics of our site.

Looks like you all had a good time! Glad you did and I'm glad you all got back safe. I as well love the mountains. I was out in New Mexico this summer and went as high as 11,800. The temps were great. The boys loved seeing snow in June! I see you are from Denver. Due to a glitch in our transportation I spent 29 hrs in the Denver airport....nice place ya got there!
