    Hello Form Portland Oregon

    Hello,

New to hanging and learning the lingo... 47 years old (250#???)and not sure if it will work or not BUT, I am going to try.

I currently looking at the HH hammocks (Survivor Asym Universal Camo).

Not sure what else I will need? I like to buy quality and will pay the extra $$.

Your advice would be "greatly" appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Roger Brown

    Welcome from Beaverton!
We happen to be having a small car camp get together next weekend (13-15th) and its centered around letting people check out all the different options and styles available.
If your free you should come check some out in person. You can camp out or just day trip..

    Another Portlander

Have no fear. I too am new to it. My first nights wre in john day river and the san juans. Two great trips. I made two do it yourself hammocks and they have been well reviewed. Great to live in the land of big trees!

Welcome from Salem. As Gary R mentioned the hang next weekend would be a great place to check things out. I myself wish I could be there to try out some different setups myself.
