PICS: Our own Scout camp 2012

Got back a week ago from putting on our own scout camp.(already making plans for next year.) It was at group camp Oso at Barton flats in the San Bernardio NF of Hyw 38.
Every thing went very well. Lots of new boys wanted hammocks at weeks end.
    Enjoy...

Thank you for sharing the pic's, really good to get out there with the boys. Liked seeing some scouts wearing their sashes and not just draping them from their belts. Saw an OA sash or two as well, really nice. Great scenery pic's, made me very jealous - being a flatlander and all.
A proper flag retirement....nothing can possibly be added.
I didn't see any electronic devices in the pictures either!! Who is it on this board that says, "less virtual, more reality"? Knotty? Anyway, thanks for sharing, I am an ASM and this was my first year of missing camp; I am still bummed.
Great job!!! Thanks for all that you do,
    YIS,

    Jim

Looks like a great trip. The scenery was great. I especially liked the Scout Law t-shirts. One question though, what was the orange bucket for?

Ya our boys like to show off their bling. ... It's nice to have the woods in our back yard....Ya I hear ya on the electronics we almost went to a total ban them, but the boys cut back on them on their own... One of the services that we provide for the community is flag retirement....I like "less virtual, more reality"....Bummer about summer camp there's always next year... Thanks

After summer camp the trip the kids talk about is the river trip, Blyth to Yuma 70 mile paddle. And that is an open invitaion family camping trip.
