    Great find at Target

Just thought I would pass along a find I made at Target this weekend. They are Micro S-Biners. I don't have a weight for them yet, but as soon as I do I will update. They were in the bike area and are only $3.99 there are six to a package and look like they would be perfect for under quilt or what ever.

Is it a great find because you haven't found these elsewhere or because the price is good?

I can buy these at local EMS.

This is the first time I have seen these this small. I have quite a few #2 size, but none of the other stores (Academy or ****'s sporting goods) has them quite this small. I take it they are easy to come by? or maybe I just have not been looking in the right places.

I've never seen those before. I think they look cool with their colorful plastic "jackets". Thanks for posting!

Caution: The plastic s-biners have been known to break when the rated load is exceeded by a small amount. Not to say the aren't useful but beware of overloading them.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

That kit is actually a keychain. Those small biners are plastic but seem plenty strong for holding up something like an UQ or similar. The gates don't open very far though so don't try to clip them over a plastic ring much bigger than a mitten hook. They're a really tight fit on the o-rings on a hennessy fly and won't even come close to fitting the D-rings on my OES tarp.

And they have a little hook on the curved tip that makes it a pain when taking them off of something. We snip the hook off the tip and all is well!! Otherwise...they work great with something small & lightweight. ZQ
