    tarp guylines

hi E1, well i was fishing the other day and as i was putting a fish onto my $0.97 fish stringer. i thought that that this would make a great guyline for my tarp. its 6 foot long, has a built in "tent peg" on one end, has a steel ring on the other end. trash doesnt stick to it like mason line. its stronger than mason line. it is hollow braid like amsteel. im gonna try it. what do yall think?

I don't really like the idea. First of all the "tent peg" is small and weak. I can't see it holding in any kind of wind at all. Plus you don't have any tensioners with this setup. Just get some shock cord, some real line (Speer, Zing it, etc) and a real set of stakes (I like Groundhogs). It's pretty cheap and it'll work.
It's only an addiction if you're trying to quit
