As the others said, great pictures! I don’t remember it looking that good. You sure do have an eye for photo taking!
(Hello MedicineMan, I hope you are well!)
I've never owned a swag. But I guess they would call that lightweight. Probably ultra lightweight.
Video not to far away. Looks like the vid will run for half hour.
Yeh, you should see the looks on the other hikers with there big wide loads of 20kg plus, especially when you tell them the weight of my pack. I might have a few of them convert to hammocks.
Sometimes it feels like a education lesson out in the bush. Hikers are keen to reduce there weight but they don't know how. I think Hammock Gear might get a few sales from down under soon.
Thanks johmar, I did try hard. Having a photographic background does help. I used to be a freelance photographer. I hope my videos are just as good. They should be, most of the images posted here are screen shots of the video's I've created with my GoPro camera.
Thanks mbiraman
Hi Bruciehi5. The angles I can achieve with the Zipshot sure makes it easier to capture those angles that help make the shots more interesting. We couldn't have picked better weather, Poured the week before and now pouring down the week later.
Thanks for sharing. Things still look pretty wet in areas.
I like you pie chart showing percentages of your gear categories.

It was still wet in places, as the week leading up to our hike it rained. We where lucky to have gotten the week we did, as when I returned, it's been raining non stop. I live just across the water from Fraser Island and its raining more on the island than on the main land.
I've never seen so much water on the island in 27 years I've been visiting the island. Amazing how full the lakes are.
