Stuff at work sorted out, at least I think it is

I can drive, , , Unless we is picking up Headchange, I only got a 2 person van. Altho One of us could lay/sit on the mattress in the back, not very comfy for more than a few minute ride tho, and no Seatbelts.

Any Idea what temps we can expect? I can only go down to about -8 or so

    Doctari.

That reminds me of the good old days of everyone piling into a van to go somewhere.

I can drive. Not a big deal. One of my friends said he wants to come.

I'll probably drive since it's only about a hour away, plus I may not be able to make it until Saturday afternoon.

Do you want to pick a cool place to hang for the night within walking distance from your start time? It might be easiest to meet you there for the night.

Or we can at the trailhead. We will figure something out.

I wanted to bump this back up. I am still in. I have been wanting to get out and play in the snow. Headchange, how is the snow down your way?

So far it stand at me, Doctari, Headchange on Saturday, and a friend of mine.

Ewker, how are your plans looking?

We got abot 3 inches of snow right now and it's still spitting snow. The news said that Saturday is supposed to be sunny and 41 degrees for a high. It could change by Saturday.

I also wanted to suggest Creation Falls on the Rock Bridge Trail. It's only about .5 miles to the falls and Rock Bridge connects to the Swift Camp Creek Trail if we wanted to do some hiking. I would like to check out gear personally. It's been a while since I've been there but it's a realy pretty spot.

As long as I am out hanging in a good spot and get some hiking in, I am happy.

Swift Camp Creek Trail would be good training for the AT. It's about 7 miles of up and down roller coaster hell. Second hardest trail in the Gorge, just behind Rough Trail, IMHO.

looks like I am going to the Laurel-Snow Pocket Wilderness. It is part of the Cumberland trail system. I had committed to it before you posted your plans
