Any entries yet? I borrowed a backyard and tried for the dash yesterday...came in around 48 seconds.
How? I had tree straps with the toggles already spike hitched in. I also have a double ended stuff sack. Would this count or is it cheating? If those "techniques" are allowed, I'll post a video later.
I could have done it faster if I had some carabiners so I didn't have to fiddle with threading the webbing through the sewn eye. If you had two sets of caribiners, you could have whoopies pre-attached to your straps and save even more time. Also, I had trouble attaching one whoopie because my whoopies had to be strung pretty tight cause the tree on the right is a little small and bends a lot when I get in the hammock.
I think it is perfectly legal. The judges will ultimately decide the point value. Let's say someone else has the same set-up as you but ties the hitch and gets the same or less time as you? Points all around!

Alright! Let's see those entries! I'm doing some filming today, so I should have something to show soon as well.
