Would you guys like to eat breakfast somewhere before we start?

The Sundance is open for breakfast at 8am. We could meet there. If we're on the trail by 10 or so, that would give us enough time to make it to Red Deer lake to set up camp before the regular 3pm afternoon rains come thru. Maybe???

    I don't know. I'm wingin it here.

What do you think food? Do we have time for breakfast or do we need to be on the trail as early as possible?

Food and I will be at KellyDahl Wens. evening, somewhere in sites 1-20.

Ed, if you and Ken aren't coming out Wens evening, lets meet at the Sundance at 8am Thurs morning for breakfast. We'll discuss where to park our vehicles and such. Food has suggested the park n ride in Nederland and I guess ferrying to the trailhead in one vehicle.

It would be us 3 in one vehicle and I think **** wants to take his own in case he needs to be able to cut his hike short.

Anyone else keeping up with this thread and can make it, we have 3 spots open.

O&B, Thanks for checking on us. We did make it home and all I can say is, WHAT A HIKE. I can not wait for the trip report trailrider42 is working on,as it is going to be amazing to say the least.
26 miles in 4 days. Camped 3 nights. The lakes were fantastic, but the weather had the fish on a diet. They just were not biting. The passes were beautiful. Wonderful week in the Rockies!!!

Yesterday after the hike, Ed put me up at his place in Colorado Springs. Drove home this morning. Thanks again Ed.

It was freakin awesome. I'll have a report up as soon as I can.
