The wife has been hanging with me....this could be bad! :)

Well, I've recently convinced my wife to come out in the yard and hang with me. She's been hanging in the GT ultralight that I've had for years. Well, yesterday she somehow ended up in my WL lite owl.....I'm not sure I'm ever going to get it back!

It's pretty nice to have someone next to you to push off of for a nice rocking effect, but I'm afraid I'm going to miss being in the bigger hammock!

Speaking as one who has lost posession of a Trek Light Double and one of my most prized underquilts, the mighty SnugFit, I can say with a reasonable amount of assurance that yes, you have indeed lost it.

Fear not! Buy-in on the part of the 'other half' can be a very good thing. As long as I pay the bills and make sure there is food in the cabinets, I get a pretty long leash when it comes to hammock gear. Mostly because she gets almost as much enjoyment from hammocks as I do. It's no different from a game of chess; you have to lose some of your pieces in order to win the game. And we all know the game; he/she that dies with the most toys wins!
    Trust nobody!

I've been enticing my wife to come out on multi-day trips with me by letting her lay in my Blackbird on day hikes. There's always a price to pay for companionship.

    Could be worse:

wife hanging with you = good

    wife hanging you = bad

As one who has seen a noose or two scattered here and there throughout the house, I'd say you're in marvelous shape
You're gonna need a bigger hammock

It's only bad for the wallet. Now you will need two of everything. LOL

Yah, take it as a good thing - I bought two different models from a manufacture and had my wife test one of em out, turned out I didn't want to keep that one... Long puppy dong face from the other half when I announced that I wasn't keeping them both...

Tell her the different setups are so you can try different gear. Obviously you gave her the best. ;-)

I agree with diva, I'd gladly spend twice the money to have my wife hang next to me. My wife gets motion sickness too easily... Bummer.
