Ok silly question is that what most folks are doing for a top quilt is literally draping a quilt over the center line inside their bug net or outside of it? Or is this a quick and easy TQ?Originally Posted by blaktee

Top quilts are just worn on top of your body. My guess from the picture is that the blanket is either drying off, or was hung there to provide some protection from dew instead of using a tarp.
Gotcha, I've been reading about underquilts but seen some references too top quilts. In my little marshbilly mind I'm thinking "isn't that just what your blanket?

In this picture it is just a blanket. I threw it over him to make a bit of a micro climat. Kinda like a "sock". Just cuz he is or rather was a little guy in this picture
