Greetings,
Late last season my wife and I got the hammock bug but didn't really have an opportunity till last week to actually sleep in them for an extended time. Last week we set up camp near a favorite spot in our Pacific Northwest and slept under the stars five nights in a row. We had visitor stop by to check out our setup as he saw our AWD Van and little (15') fiberglass trailer...
Then he saw our two hammocks and we saw his confusion... He asked us why would anyone sleep in hammocks when they had two amazing rigs all set up with the comforts of home...
To which I responded... "For the same reason anyone would jump out of a perfectly good airplane with a parachute strapped to their back, it's fun"
(mine on the left is a WBBB, hers is a Hen.Exp.AsymZip. We adjusted the tarp back to reveal sky at night as there was only a slight breeze during the day...tarp was basically to keep pine needles away. )
And the view of river from camp...
hope u all have some fun adventures this season and beyond.

Nice little camper is it a Cassita?
What tarp did you use? It covered both hammocks! ?

Looks great PT!
First time I tested out the HH delux in Norway during autum.. Resulted in a severe case of CBS, and me having to plead with my
girlfriend to be let into the tent in the midle of the night.
I learned from the experience and picked up a HG incubator 0*, and never have had the problem again
I am waiting to see the picture of a hammock anchored into the sides of a snow cave.
Greetings, thx for the kudos and Q's...
It is a "Parkliner" made in Gibsonville, NC. Our rig was basically the first production unit on the west coast (we had it delivered to our place on the Oregon Coast). It is an amazing rig for its size (12 ft from front to rear walls). Loaded for two weeks of adventure...2300lbs at scales, an easy tow.
a couple interior shots (image links to not bugger up a hammock thread) ... looking forward to shower/toilet with side dinette set up, and looking toward rear that converts to a queen bed/table for 2 or 4/U shaped lounge. We usually leave it in table-for-two mode since we sleep inside the AWD Van conversion which has a full size (froli) bed and a shower/toilet.
The tarp you see there was the HEX rainfly that my wife ordered for her Hennessy Expedition Asymmetrical zip. What we did was put it over both hammocks only during the day when the wind/breeze was shaking pine needles down from above, then we took it off at night since there was good weather, clear skies and no breeze after about 1600.Originally Posted by [email protected]
