I've converted my brothers and a few friends to hammocks by buying cheap ones, upgrading the suspension and adding a ridgeline, and reselling them for the material cost.
Here are a few pics from the forrest surrounding our village.
Here one from our garden, a perfect spot between two cherry trees. This year we had too many cherries, so I could just collect them from out of the hammock.
And a few pics from the park/forrest in Karlsruhe, Germany.
I had to attach the hammock to a sign post in the last two pics.
Horse Camping at Coos Bay Oregon. Family stayed in the camper while I slept like a baby in my WB-BB.

Later, took the horses to the beach. What a great trip with the family.

From our adventure hiking up the Sebako waterfall system near the Malaysia-Indonesia border. Another 6 hours ascend and we would have reached the border itself.

We're hanging above this campsite. Note the orange tarp near left upper corner. Only able to hang 1 hammock here.

Didn't get to do any hammock camping, but my daughter had a great seat for lunch next to St Mary Lake in Glacier NP.

From the top of Bell Mountain in the Mark Twain National Forest, first is the view from the hammocks, second is the view of the hammocks. Got to watch a meteor shower this past Saturday from that vantage point. Delightful experience.
