This is a trip in the Buffalo River area of Ozarks. That is a JRB gear hammock. It's not as versatile as my AHE chair, but still handy.

Where on Breakneck Pond in Harriman was that? Recently I was there trying to find a spot to hang on the South Western end but there was too much over growth there.

I know on the Northern end theres a series of Huts on the shore but I didn't go up that way, I wonder if that is where you were?
I ended up finding a spot to hang over looking over Lake Sebago.

It's actually very close to where your red location marker is, maybe another 75m east on the north shore. There are two trees perfect for a hammock, a nice fire pit, and there's easy access for a swim. The huts you mention are actually the Harriman Outdoor Center, recently rehabbed by the AMC. Before it was open, Breakneck was one of my fav spots in Harriman since after dusk it was quiet, now it gets a lot of people traffic. Can't really complain though, there are so many other great spots in the park to hang.Nice pictures Mrcheviot
