I remember my first "slope". I had read you could use a hammock on a slope and thought i'ed try it. The hammock went up fine. But all my gear - pad, sleeping bag, water bottle, sleeping bag, etc. would take turns trying to roll down the slope. It was funny as "the rest of the story" about slope camping became apparent.
