latest hang at Turkey Swamp Park =)
Hiked to the top of Brian Head ski resort in Utah early one morning while on vacation with my wife and her folks. Even had a enough time for a little nap at the top.
The reason this is an awesome hang is it's my boy and I hanging on our first backpack trip.
And this one is awesome because snoozing in my hammock in the rain after breakfast looking at a meadow through the trees is as relaxed as I get.
While I was looking at those pictures, i thought exactly the same thing! Then I saw your post and laughed.
Another northern Ontario boy here. My hometown is Thunder Bay, which, according to Wikipedia, "is home to 14,510 people of Finnish descent,[31] the highest concentration of persons of Finnish origin per capita in Canada, and the second largest Finnish population in Canada after Toronto which has 14,750 persons of Finnish origin."
Unfortunately, I only learned a few Finnish words, none of which can be quoted on a family-friendly forum.
So I moved to Toronto, and where did I end up living? Halfway between the Osuuspankki credit union and the Suomi Koti nursing home!
Yes, there are a lot of Finns up here. Much of the landscape is incredibly similar to the Scandinavian countries.
The pictures Simo posted look exactly like many of the lakes I've camped on over the years. Beautiful.
