    Lake of the Clouds. Lake Superior is about 4 miles to the right of pic. The trail runs along a ridge on the right side of Lake of the Clouds, you will see hawks flying BELOW you.

    Looks like the same campsite above Lake of the Clouds I stayed at. The wind came in around 9:00PM and blew so hard it bounced the hammock till 3:00AM. Craziest night ever spent hanging. I was glad it didn't rain.

    @Ospreydog - looks like a fun trip.
    Crowders has recently updated their campsites. This was campsite # 3 about a 1.5 mile hike from the visitor center parking lot. The sites have water and fire wood. Definitely recommend camping there. We had a great time and had the whole mountain to ourselves.

    The dog's got his hammock setup. So where do you sleep?

    Dayhike/Catnap in WBBB XLC

    New hammock arrived this week, and had to get out and give it a go. I'm still waiting for my UQ from Kick *** Quilts to arrive, and it's winter here in PA, so a dayhike/catnap was in order:
